Every week brings a fresh wave of Karnataka government recruitment and examination developments — and missing one date can cost a whole cycle. This weekly digest pulls together the important updates for Karnataka job aspirants, taken only from official government portals (KPSC, Karnataka State Police, KEA and the Forest Department). Dates and numbers below are as published by those official sources on 18 September 2026; always re-confirm on the official page before you apply.
1. KPSC — Gazetted Probationers 2026-27 (319 posts)
The Karnataka Public Service Commission's flagship notification for 319 Group 'A' and 'B' Gazetted Probationer posts has now closed for online applications. A corrigendum on the KPSC official website extended the last date for submission of the online application till 07-09-2026. Candidates who applied should now track the KPSC website for the exam schedule and admit-card updates.

Quick tips for this week
- Don't wait for the last date. KPSC and KEA portals slow down sharply in the final 48 hours — apply early and keep your acknowledgement.
- Verify every number on the notification PDF. Vacancy counts, fees and reservation rosters are only final in the official notification.
- Keep your documents ready — photo, signature, caste/income certificates and ID — in the exact size and format the portal asks for.
- Track results and admit cards on the official portal, not on forwarded messages. Sources below are the only ones to trust.
